Nicholas Goluses is professor of guitar, director of the guitar programs, and chairman of the string department at the Eastman School of Music. Goluses has held the Andrés Segovia Faculty Chair at the Manhattan School of Music, and was the recipient of both the Pablo Casals Award "for musical accomplishment and human endeavor" and the Faculty Award of Distinguished Merit, confirming his love of and commitment to teaching.

Master Classes
Dr. Goluses is in great demand for master classes at leading institutions throughout the world including the Academy for the Performing Arts (Hong Kong), Boston Conservatory of Music, Cleveland Institute of Music, Dublin Conservatory (Ireland), Oberlin College/Conservatory, Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto), Universidad Interamericana (Puerto Rico), and the University of Southern California (Los Angeles), and has been Artist-in-Residence at Colorado College and the University of Denver.

Goluses is currently artistic director of the Eastman Guitarfest and teaches at the Bowdoin Summer Festival and Hammamatsu, Japan. Goluses has been a featured performer at the New York Guitarfest (artistic director), Rome Festival, Guitar Foundation of America Festival, Toronto Guitarfest, American Guitar Congress, Keystone Festival, Music at Sharon Festival, Great Lakes Guitar Festival, Boston Guitarfest, Southwest Guitar Festival, Operafestival di Roma, the Stetson GuitarFestival, and the Victoria Festival in British Columbia.
